The Group is principally engaged in the business of property investment, property development, hotel operations, financial consultancy service and comprehensive healthcare planning and management services in the PRC. The Company listed on the Main Board of The Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 16 January 1998. Through an acquisition in 2014, the major shareholder of the Group has changed. Under leadership of the new management, the Group has carefully reviewed its development strategy and operational model. In drastically changes of market environment, the Group has adopted an optimization policy to restructure both asset portfolio and business diversification by acquiring better quality assets while facing out and non-performance assets, in the meantime, exploring new business opportunities and dimensions. As a result, the asset portfolio quality has increased and the business operation is getting more and more effective and efficient.
